We had such a fantastic 4 days, simply put it ticked all the boxes. Beautiful, natural surroundings, fresh organic ingredients, personable service from knowledgable, passionate, friendly staff but most of all nothing was ever to hard to do. The slightest suggestion or reference to and they went out of their way to make it happen. Best summarized as an "authentic hands - on cooking experience". The accommodation whilst basic was beautiful and clean, a luxury girl at heart I had no problem staying there.
Well worth a visit and far better then any cliche' cooking school elsewhere.
To complete the experience the Cu Chi Tunnels are 20mins away; we went there combined with a rice paper factory both worth a visit.

Everything about this experience was wonderful. From being picked up at our hotel, to picking our own herbs and mushrooms in the organic garden to cooking four delicious, Vietnamese dishes. (Fresh Vietnamese spring rolls, smokey, bbq'd pork on a bed of crunchy green papaya, carrot and herb salad, a subtly flavoured beef broth, poured over thin slivers of fillet steak, mushrooms, herbs and noodles finishing with crispy, banana spring rolls served with frozen coconut cream)The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about they do. I couldn't recommend this experience more highly
Great chefs. So enthusiastic about their job and lovely people. Non profit making but just for the love of excellent fresh organic food and giving back to the world. Best food I've ever eaten and I made it! Thank you - I'm going to keep it up now I know I can cook!
This is one of the best cooking Classes I have attended so far compared to other cooking classes in other countries. Well organized and fresh vegetables directly from the farm. The staff and the cheff Ms. Tan were great, cheerful and were very accommodating.
Surely, I recommend this class for others to attend.
It was a great experience to visit an organic farm and had a cooking lesson with a fantastic Chef teacher. Firstly we collected some ingredients for the meals by ourselves that we used later during cooking.
After a few hour course, we visited Cu Chi tunnels which is a very interesting place to see and our guide had a great knowledge to share about it as same as she had about cooking.
It was a great day, we highly recommend HCM Cooking Class to everybody!
This was such a fun highlight of our trip! Chef Tan is friendly, funny, and engaging. He clearly knows what he is talking about when it comes to true Vietnamese cooking. The farm is just beautiful, such a nice way to spend an afternoon

Thanks guys for a great day! This has been our favourite day in Ho Chi Minh City. Such a well organised and fun tour. Our chef was so informative and friendly. It was great to learn how to cook such delicious dishes with organic produce collected from the restaurant owned farm. Straight from the ground onto the table then into our bellies. Make sure you turn up with a huge appetite!
Great awesome trip especially on the cooking class. Even just a short course, Chef Tan has given me a good lesson not only cooking, but on the same times also goes on marketing.
The cooking class was absolutely fantastic! They picked us up at home and my family at their hotel! They went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests and I cannot believe I cooked the best pho I’ve ever had!
The chef is super patient, speaks perfect English and has so much knowledge! The whole staff was great really!
Picking our own ingredients was fun and the food was amazing. This tour has definitely succeeded my expectations and I recommend it to everyone I know!
